WHAT'S INSIDE

  1. 01

    Statue Plank

Why it builds focus: Holding still trains the body to listen to the brain.

    How to do it

    1. Show the plank in the video together.
    2. Hold a plank like a statue for 10 seconds (knees down is fine).
    3. Try for 20 seconds, counting out loud together.

You win when... A 20 second statue with no wiggles.

  2. 02

    Eyes Up

Why it builds focus: Eye contact is how focus starts in class and how confidence shows.

    How to do it

    1. Watch the eye contact tip.
    2. Play the stare game, eyes on yours while you count to 10.
    3. Practice a strong "Hi, my name is" with eyes up.

You win when... 10 seconds of eye contact and a strong hello.

  3. 03

    Stand Tall, Speak Strong

Why it builds focus: Kids who look and sound confident are more focused and less likely to be picked on.

    How to do it

    1. Watch Coach's confidence tip together.
    2. Stand tall, shoulders back, hands ready.
    3. Say your name and age in a big, clear voice three times.

You win when... A big, proud voice on all three tries.

  4. 04

    Listen and Go

Why it builds focus: Following a few steps in order is the core of classroom focus.

    How to do it

    1. Give a 3 step instruction like "touch your nose, jump twice, sit down".
    2. Your child repeats it back first, then does it.
    3. Make it 4 steps if that was easy.

You win when... 3 steps in the right order, first try.

    Coach tip

Say it once, calmly. In class we call this listening the first time.

  5. 05

    Balance Builder

Why it builds focus: Balance makes the brain and body work together, which helps attention.

    How to do it

    1. Watch the balance drill together.
    2. Stand on one foot with hands up like a crane.
    3. Switch feet and count to 10 on each side.

You win when... 10 seconds on each foot.

    Finish Line

Why it builds focus: Finishing without reminders builds self discipline.

    How to do it

    1. Pick one small job, like putting shoes away or setting the table.
    2. Say it once.
    3. Let your child finish it with no reminders.

You win when... The job is done, no reminders needed.

    Coach tip

Catch them doing it right and say exactly what they did well.

  7. 07

    Show Me

Why it builds focus: Teaching what they learned locks it in and builds pride.

    How to do it

    1. Your child shows a family member every day's skill.
    2. The family cheers each one.
    3. Fill in the last star and sign the certificate on the printed chart.

You win when... All 7 stars filled.
